Ossington Alleys

Image
I think with the second roll of Kodak Ultramax 400, I'm getting a better handle on scanning with Silverfast 9. The last few frames have a bit of Fred Herzog/Saul Leiter vibe with them along Ossington proper.  This was a fun photo walk, I might choose a different start point for the Toronto Film Shooters if I were to run a walk with them.  Camera: Nikon FM3a, Voigtlander 40 F2 Ultron SL II lens.  Film: Kodak Ultramax 400, processed at Graination Lab.

Beaconsfield and Ossington

I explored the black alleys of Ossington and Beaconsfield Village with Jo-Anne on a recent Toronto Photowalks outing, this is one part of town I haven't really explored all that much. It was one of those days that threatened rain but didn't show up until the end of the walk.  There's a learning curve scanning colour film in Silverfast, I felt like I'm back at the beginning, that said, I will figure things out and get better. The workflow is just different, that said, I'm making discoveries every time I'm using Silverfast.  Camera: Nikon FM3a, Voigtlander 40 F2 SLII Ultron lens.  Film: Kodak Ultramax 400, processed by Graination Photo Lab.
