North end of Durham Region and Uxbridge

The Nikon F100 and Nikon AF-D 28-105 zoom lens is a beautiful combo that can get you through most situations. It almost feels like cheating by switching on Matrix metering and aperture priority I should try Cinestill 400D and slide film in this camera.  Camera: Nikon F100, Nikon AF-D 28-105 F3.5 F4.5 Lens.  Film: Kodak Ektar 100.

Gen One Nikon F Photomic on a Test Drive in Durham Region.

I started in Uxbridge at the York Durham Heritage Railway and ended the test roll back at the YDHR after a day trip up to Beaverton and one of two cameras of choice is my early Nikon F (with the 647 serial#) and a first generation Photomic with the flag switch. Yes the meter even works! I only rolled with the Nikkor S 50 F1.4 lens which came with the camera.  The early Photomic wan't TTL metering and the CdS cell was on the corner of the meter head. The accuracy was pretty good for a 60 year old camera. The results speak for themselves.  Camera: Nikon F Photomic, NIkkor S 50 F1.4 lens.  Film: ORWO UN 54, D76 1+1.
