April TFS Photowalk Part Two, Through the Annex

Image
This was supposed to be a colour roll, but for whatever reason, the second roll of Superia 400 just would not advance in my Nikon SP, no idea why. That said Ilford HP5 400 when through like hot shit through a Canada Goose, so it could be user error, I think that is the probable cause, Either way my SP at some point this year will head off for a CLA.  Loved wandering through the Annex, usually it was the end point of a photo walk, I have to figure out a route the brings us in from a different direction, I have one germinating in my mind for later this year, maybe for the fall.   Camera: Nikon SP, Nikkor S Mount Lenses.  Film: Ilford HP5 400, Ilfotec HC 1+31.

The April Toronto Film Shooters Photowalk From Chinatown to University of Toronto

Image
Sounds counter intuitive, sometimes, on rainy days, it's the best time to use colour film. Our walk started at Graination Lab on Spadina and we headed north, through Chinatown, Baldwin Village, and later the St. George Campus of University of Toronto, with the destination being the Annex. I'm starting to wonder if I ran out of luck with nice weather on my photowalks, while wet weather makes for beautiful photos, it really can suck to walk in...... Camera: Nikon SP Rangefinder, Nikkor S 50 F1.4 lens, W35 F2.5 lens.  Film: Fuji Superia, processed by Burlington Camera.
