Mono Cliffs Provincial Park Part Two

Image
Mono Cliffs is one of those secret magical spots I to go hiking and a few weeks ago I led a photo walk with 15 members of the Oakville Camera Club . The big challenge when organizing field trips for the club is keeping things fresh and the park delivered in a big way and we were fortunate to get a sunny day after the fog burned off. For those wondering where Mono Cliffs Provincial Park is, budget about an hour and 20 minutes driving time northwest of Toronto by taking highway 410 then drive along highway 10 through Orangeville and then turn right along Mono Centre Road #8, go east and keep an eye out for the signs for the park. Beaches Glamour

When I hit a rut creatively, I reach to glamour photography to get out of it. The above photos were taken back in early July. Camera: Mamiya C220F, Sekor 105 f3.5 lens or 135 f4.5 lens, Film: Colour is Ektar 100 and black and white: Fuji Neopan Acros 100.

Winter In Colour

Image
All shot on the 2013 Winter Photography Outing with the Oakville Camera Club up in Belfountain Conservation Area and surrounding neighbourhood. I really love shooting with my Nikon FM2, especially in the winter. The Canadian Government used them up in the high arctic because it was the only camera that would function in temperatures as low as -40c, I don't think the replacement DSLRs would last anywhere near as long out there. Camera: Nikon FM2 and the 35 F2 Ais Lens mostly. Film: Fuji Pro 400 H.
