Two new photos from a set I will be putting up on Kensington Market, one of may favourite neighbourhoods in Toronto. I use a lot of black and white film but I am not a snob about it, I love colour too. Both these photos were done with the Canonet, the small camera with a big name with Fuji Superia Extra 400. Note with one shot I took from indoors, I metered the exposure for outside. Now I have to learn how to use my new scanner,

Here are some more shots taken with the Leica M3 from this Summer which has gone by way too fast, the sailboats are in Oakville Harbour, the bar patio scene was taken on Queen Street passing Lion on the Beach, a really nice pub, no I was not paid by them but it is a nice place to hang out. The rest are down by the Beach itself near the boardwalk and Martin Goodman Trail. Both the Canon 50/1.4 and the Summicron were used, as for the film I think it was Ilford.

Some more shots with a Leica M3 and a 50/2 Summicron. The lady in the photo is my friend Cathy Chatterton, wedding and editorial photographer enjoying an ice cream cone from as you can tell in the next picture the Little Italy establishment The Big Chill. This was definately Ilford Delta 400 film. Shot at f16, 1/500 with the Summicron lens

Here is a little taste of the Leica M3, the first photo was taken early march with a 50/2 Summiccron with I think Agfa APX 400 film. Dad gave me the camera along with a Nikon F two weeks before he passed on. I showed him the first roll I took with the camera and he was pleased. The other photo I took along the boardwalk in the Beaches with a Canon 50/1.4 lens again with the M3. This camera is magic.
