Scotsdale Farm in the Fall

Image
Been ages since I was last up at Scotsdale Farm. I needed a break from packing the house up. To shake things up, I went medium format with my Mamiya C220F on my hike, and shot one roll of colour, and another black and white. I would have shot both rolls of Lomo 400, but, I forgot the pack the second roll hence the Rollei RPX 400.  Hiking with a C220F is a pretty good workout and would do it again.  Camera: Mamiya C220F Twin lens Reflex Camera, Mamiya Sekor Lenses.  Film: L,omo 400 C-41. Rollei RPX 400, Ilfotec HC 1+31.

Been a while since I used my Mamiya C220F, a great stripped down Twin Lens Reflex camera compared to the 330F and uses the same lens system. On a bright early summer's day I loaded up some Catlabs X Film 80 because that film loves bright contrasty sunshine. The creamy rendering from Mamiya Sekor glass is something else.  Camera: Mamiya C220F Twin Lens Reflex Camera. Sekor 80 F2.8 lens, Sekor 55 F4.5 lens.  Film: Catlabs X Film 80, Ilfotec HC 1+31.

Summer Time, A Mamiya C220f and Fuji Neopan Acros 100.

Nothing beats shooting Acros 100 through a Mamiya Twin Lens Reflex Camera, in this case the C220f on a bright sunny day.  Camera: Mamiya C220f, Sekor 80 F2.8 lens.  Film: Fuji Neopan Acros 100, ID-11 1+1.

Back to Burlington Ontario

What do you do when you're waiting for colour film to be processed at Burlington Camera? Go to downtown Burlington, grab a coffee (Tamp on Brant St. is sublime), wander around and take pictures. I think I also stumbled onto a gateway to a parallel universe and photographed me from over there, staring back.  Covid 19 isn't stopping real estate developement in downtown Burlington, a new condo tower is going with another one planned just down Brant St. The locals aren't happy and while I'm for densifcation I would rather have the surface lots developed have the parking below street grade in a parking garage and leave the street front buildings alone, but that would make way too much sense.  Camera: Mamiya C220f, Sekor 80 f2.8 lens.  Film: Fuji Neopan Acros 100, D76 1+1.
