Weekend in Oakville

Image
Just a winter weekend after the so-called snow storm, that turned out to be 5cm of super wet snow/slush that felt like cement, it has been a weird winter so far....... Camera Nikkormat EL, Nikkor O 35 F2 lens, Nikkor HC 85 F1.8 lens.  Film: JCH Streetpan 400, Ilfotec HC 1+31.

Embrace the Grain Podcast June Film Challenge: Fomapan 100 Part One

Image
I don't do monthy film challenges too often but Embrace the Grain Film Podcast Community has one on for June with Fomapan 100, I had a few rolls, why not? The camera of choice was the Nikon F2 Photomic with a three lens set up, the NC 28 F2, SC 50 f1.4 and the P 105 F2.5 lenses. All solid glass that just don't fail. I shot both in the morning mid day and late afternoon over the course of a couple of days. The developer of choice was ID-11 at 1+1, an old school developer with a fine grained old school cubic grained film. The results look beautiful.  Unrelated, why ruin a nice 30 year old Audi Coupe with a vehicle wrap advertising your vehicle wrap business?  Camera: Nikon F2 Photomic, Pre Ai Nikkor lenses.  Film: Fomapan 100, ID-11 1+1.

Winter Light

Image
It was a very grey January with a few sunny days to reprieve, on the days of partly sunny weather made for interesting shooting. I started shooting Fomapan 400 again, again at 250 ISO and processing for the 400 ISO time in HC110 B gave me lovely contrast without needed a yellow filter on my lenses. Granted I was shooting with a camera roughly six months older than I am while overhauled years ago by a retired Nikon repair tech. I have one roll left of UFX 400 and I'll be switching over to Fomapan for my bulk rolled 400 ISO black and white film.  Camera: Nikon F Photomic Tn, Nikkor Pre Ai lenses.  Film: Fomapan 400, HC110 B.
