Easter Weekend in the Beaches.

Image
What a stark difference a few weeks makes, the March photowalk was almost a washout but two weeks later with the same camera and film combo, we get this, most of the 2024 Winter Stations at Woodbine Beach, and an Easter parade. Couldn't ask for a nicer Easter Sunday. Camera: Nikon FM2n, Nikkor Ais 50 F1.4 lens.  Film: Fomapan 400, Ilfotec HC 1+31.

March 2024 Toronto Film Shooters Photo Walk in the Beaches.

You know, best laid plans and all, I had this great photo walk planned for the Beaches to take in the Winter Stations,  but we only got to see one. Conrad, aka Robo Trash Panda in Ivan Forest Gardens. The weather forecast turned evil with one long epic rain event. The blob of green stretched from the Great Lakes to the Gulf of Mexico on the Weather Network radar.  We still went out, it was a light drizzle, I briefed everyone, if the heavens open up, make a beeline for the Stone Lion for lunch. In the end I still hold photo walks in even less than ideal weather because sometimes you get your best work in less than ideal conditions.  Camera: Nikon FM2n, Nikkor AIS lenses.  Film: Ilford HP5 400, Ilfotec HC 1+31.
