 Just a collection of photos I shot over the course of August on Portra 400 in my Minolta X-700.  Somehow I have fallen in with dad's obsession of shooting flowers on colour film and I'm left with two questions. One, why oh why ruin the look of a beautiful late 1970s Mercedes 450SL with low profile rims? Really? Go with period correct rims on a classic car like that two seat convertible. Second Question, will that east path at Gairloch Gardens ever be opened to foot traffic? Not that anyone cares they just walk on the grass parallel to the path and garden beds.  Camera: Minolta X-700, Minolta MD and Rokkor MD lenses.  Film: Kodak Portra 400. 

I had to walk over to Maplegrove Plaza and pick up some medication for mom, and of course, pack a camera with me, in this case the trusty X-700 with the half finished roll of Kodak Color Plus 200. You be surprised what you can find in your own neighbourhood. Note: Wedgewood Pool is now open at a reduced capacity.  Camera: Minolta X-700, Md Minolta lenses.  Film: Kodak Color Plus 200

As mentioned in an earlier post, I developed a new found respect for the Minolta X-700, blowing the dorrs off the Canon AE-1P I used to own. Thing is I never really shot a lot of colour film through an X-700, well if I'm doing that, I might as well rock with a classic 1980s look C-41 film Kodak Color Plus 200. which I expose at 100 ISO because I do stuff like that with certain films.  Camera: Minolta X-700, Minolta MD lenses.  Film: Kodak Color Plus 200 @100 ISO.
