March on a Roll of Ilford FP4

Image
March in Toronto is an all over the place month weather wise. We started off with snow banks slowly melting and by the end of the roll just over a week in, we got Fool's Spring with temperatures you usually see in early May, it was a nice respite.  I loaded up my Nikon F90X with a Nikon AF-D 28-105 zoom lens which is a great all 'rounder and ran with Ilford FP4, a film one overlooks because it's an old faithful emulsion. Damn, so nice, I processed in Ilfotec HC 1+31 for eight minutes, nothing exotic, the negatives look super crisp and easy to scan.  In the end, the roll started in late winter, and ended in Fool's Spring just before second winter hit.  Camera: F90X, Nikon AF-D 28-105 F3.5-4.5 Zoom Lens.  Film: Ilford FP4 125, Ilfotec HC 1+31.

World Wide Photo Walk Day Part One

Image
Scott Kelby's Worldwide Photo Walk Day fell on a really nice Saturday morning in early October, a combined Toronto Film Shooters/Toronto Photo Walks Crew set up from the St. Lawerence neighbourhood to Harbourfront. Tagging along is a fellow member of the Film Shooters Collective, Katie Mollon who along with her husband came up from Detroit for the weekend.  I chose Ilford FP4 and the Nikon FM2/T as my film and rig of choice and it worked well for me that weekend. There was no cloud in the sky and I had to make the shadows work for me. I have to shoot with FP4 a lot more often next year.  Camera: Nikon FM2/T, Nikkor AIS mount Lenses.  Film: Ilford FP4 125, Ilfotec HC 1+31.
