Another Walk Around the Neighbourhood

Wandered down into Davisville Village along Yonge Steet a few weeks ago, been a while since I used my Leica IIIG which is the most usable of Barnack era screwmounts. Yes loading is still a pain in the ass, but the viewfinder had frames for both 50 and 90mm lenses and is much bigger than the IIIf.

This roll is one of those "one lens and body" exercise and believe me, sometimes you just want to simplify things. Worked for Henri Cartier Bresson.

I wasn't happy with the scans on this roll,  Hammrick Software pushed out a recent update for Vuescan, usually thing are great, that said, every once in a while, the update goes off into the weeds. These were the best case scenario. In the end, I'm keeping Vuescan for document scanning, which I do a fair amount of and software works great for that. I wound up downloading Silverfast 9 and at the start of a long journey to master it.
