The Holiday Season Photo Walk Part One

Image
The December photo walk had some of the usual suspects along with some new attendees. The route was simple. Start at Yonge and Summerhill and walk north to the Kay Gardiner Beltway and go east to Mt. Pleasant and north on Mt. Pleasant. We never really wandered through Deer Park before, my connection to the neighbourhood is familial,  two aunts grew up in this nieghbourhood east of Yonge St. and my great grandmother lived on Lawton Boulevard during the 1930s after my great grandfather passed.  Deer Park is going to change south of St. Clair on the east of Yonge St. due to future condo development. The only constant is change....  Camera; Nikon FM3a, Nikkor Ais 50 F1.4 lens.  Film: Bergger Pancro 400, Ilfotec HC 1+31.

Part Two The Walk from Little India into Danforth Village

More from the second Spring photo walk at the end of May. It was a beautiful day and a great route from Riverdale to Danforth Village Camera: Nikon F3/T, Nikkor Ais 50 F1.4 lens.  Film: Kodak Portra 400.

James St., Hamilton Ontario

Image
If Toronto has Queen St., I would consider James St. in Hamilton its relative equivelent. I never walked up James St. northward, I do want to do it again, preferably on a less a grey day, and with colour film. Nikon F4, Nikkor Ais 50 f1.4 lens. Film: Kodak Tri-X 400 pushed to 1600, HC110 B.
