The York Durham Heritage Railway, A Fallen Flag. and Uxbridge

Image
I day tripped up to Uxbridge one late Sunday morning back in June when I found out, the firm handling the dismantling of the York Durham Heritage Railway was in the process of scrapping some rolling stock that couldn't be sold off whole, they were going I guess to be parted out and scrapped.  The cmaera of choice was my Canon New F-1 and Kodak Gold 200, it's a no lose combination. The FDn lens coatings love colour film.  Camera: Canon New F-1, FDn lenses.  Film: Kodak Gold 200.

Downtown Uxbridge, and Goodwood on a Sunday.

The second roll from Uxbridge and Goodwood, scanned nicer with the latest Vuescan update, still don't like it and not looking forward to scanning colour which will happen at some point soon. In the end first world problems. Ninety five times out of a hundred, Vuescan knocks it out of the ballpark, five percent of the time, I start kicking tires on Silverfast only to realize I like Vuescan's UX so much better.  I did get some great photos of Goodwood aka Schitt's Creek on the way back to Toronto.  Camera: Nikon F2SB, Nikkor Pre Ai lenses.  Film: Eastman Double X, Ilfotec HC 1+49
