Kodak Ektar 100 in the Beaches through My 3.5 F Planar Rolleiflex TLR

Image
I love my Rolleiflexes, the end. They are the perfect medium format camera for my photographic eye.  My stay in the Beaches this summer was different this year, partly because of Covid 19 and partly my expanded roll in elder care with a family member, I had to drive out to Oakville every evening to cook dinner then go back to my brother's place to walk his dog Maya and feed the turtle. If you squint your eyes, things sort of look normal, look closer, they are not. I do love the expanded restaurant patios on Queen St. which I hope beoomes a permanent fixture going forward.   Camera: Rolleiflex 3.5 F Planar Twin Lens Reflex.  Film: Kodak Ektar 100

West of the City, St. Mary's Part One

A long time friend of mine Jean Pierre Faucher had this great idea of exploring the small towns of Southwest Ontario around London for a week. It finally came together this past August and we spent a week driving around the first town on the list is St. Mary's Ontario , a regional centre and former mill town for flour production. These days the big employer is St. Mary's Cement due to the abundance of Limestone in the area. Camera: Rolleiflex Series E 3.5 Planar TLR Film: Fuji Acros 100, HC110 B.

Sherman Falls in the Winter

Image
From the Oakville Camera Club Waterfall on Ice photo outing. Twenty four camera club members turned out first thing Sunday morning to shoot Sherman Falls. We were lucky to get some cold temperatures the night before and we actually got some ice formation on the side of the wall. A good time was had by all. Location: Sherman Falls, Ancaster Ontario on the edge of the Bruce Trail. Camera: Mamiya C220f, various Sekor lenses, Film: Fuji Neopan Acros 100 processed in Xtol 1+1.
