Toronto Film Shooters Meet Up Part Three

I prefer the east end of Toronto to the west end..... Camera: Asahi Pentax MX, SMC M Pentax 50 f1.7 lens. Film: Kodak Portra 400

Toronto Film Shooters Meet Up Part Two

Image
Gerrard St. Between Broadview and Carlaw still has its grit, for now. Even then there are signs of change, a cool bar here, an indie coffee shop there, change is inevitable. Camera: Asahi Pentax MX, SMC-M Pentax 50 f1.7 lens. Film: Kodak Portra 400.

Toronto Film Shooters July Meet Up Part One

Image
I belong to both the Toronto Film Shooters Facebook Group and the Film Shooters Collective and organized combined photo walk. We explored Chinatown East along Gerrard and then made our way down Carlaw and heading west on Queen through Leslieville ending up in Riverside for lunch. I traveled light and decided to shoot in colour with Kodak Portra 400. Thankfully the weather cooperated, as this is shaping up to be a very waterlogged Summer in Southern Ontario. Heading back Home

Image
Sadly all vacations both weeks long or a long weekend come to an end. The drive home along Highway 35 was beautiful even if the lighting was a bit of a challenge with low cloud and misty skies. That said there was no wind that day and I got some great shots with reflections, I'll take what I can get. Asahi Pentax MX, SMC Pentax M 50 f1.7 lens. Rollei RPX 400 processed in HC110 and Kodak Portra 400

Jackson Lake Part Two

Sometimes you don't have to wander far from where you are staying to get some great shots..... Camera: Asahi Pentax KX, SMC Pentax M 50 f1.4 lens. Film:  Kodak Portra 400 for colour film. Asahi Pentax MX, SMC Pentax M 50 f1.7 lens. Film: Rollei RPX 400, HC110 B. for black and white.

Dorset Ontario

Image
I never get tired of photographing Dorset Ontario to the point of being almost obsessive about it. The Lake of Bays is my favourite side of Muskoka and I have a family connection with relatives working at the Bigwin Resort back in the 1940s as summer jobs for university. If you ask me where paradise is, I'm going to point to the Lake of Bays part of Muskoka and points north towards the other side of Bella Lake between Huntsville and Algonquin Park. Love beaches and all but give me the woods and lakes any day of the week. Black and White shots: Camera: Asahi Pentax MX, SMC Pentax M 50 f1.7 lens. Film: Rollei RPX 400, HC110 B. Colour Shots: Camera: Asahi Pentax KX, SMC Pentax M 50 f1.4 lens, Film: Kodak Ultramax 400.
