Holiday Season Photo Walk Part Two

Image
The second part of the December photo walk took us deep into Deer Park and onto the Kay Gardiner Beltline Trail ending up on Mt. Pleasant. A familar route but you can always find something slightly different in a familar subject matter.  Camera: Nikon FM3 Nikkor Ais lenses.  Film; Bergger Pancro 400, Ilfotec HC 1+31.

The Holiday Season Photo Walk Part One

The December photo walk had some of the usual suspects along with some new attendees. The route was simple. Start at Yonge and Summerhill and walk north to the Kay Gardiner Beltway and go east to Mt. Pleasant and north on Mt. Pleasant. We never really wandered through Deer Park before, my connection to the neighbourhood is familial,  two aunts grew up in this nieghbourhood east of Yonge St. and my great grandmother lived on Lawton Boulevard during the 1930s after my great grandfather passed.  Deer Park is going to change south of St. Clair on the east of Yonge St. due to future condo development. The only constant is change....  Camera; Nikon FM3a, Nikkor Ais 50 F1.4 lens.  Film: Bergger Pancro 400, Ilfotec HC 1+31.

For kicks and giggles I did a one stop push to 200 ISO to buy me more speed with gloomy weather. I've never pushed Delta 100 before, Acros 100 in 120 by accident once. I'm pleased with the results, yes, I plan to push FP4 in the future once I get to start that bulk roll.  The camera of choice was my Nikon F90X with AF-D 50 F1.8, the cheap and cheerful nifty fifty lens that punches like a heavyweight for its price point. The one downfall, the batteries died so I lost the last six frames. The big upside AA's are plentliful as dirt, that said the batteries died on my to the Eglington subway station for the trip home.  As mentioned, I thought this was the last roll of bulk rolled Delta 100, I was wrong, one was found on my desk There are fresh batteries in the F90X, lets do a "o
