Portraiture with a 50mm Lens

Lindsay II

Shot over my birthday lunch with my friend Lindsay. I might make this into a few prints so Lindsay can give them to her parents and boyfriend.

On a technical note in this shot, this has to be my favourite form of lighting for portraiture, commonly known as the Rembrandt look.

Camera: Leica M3 with the 50 f2 collapsible Summicron lens.
Film: My last roll of Kodak Plus X 125 processed in Xtol 1+1.
