Nikon AF-D 35-70 F2.8 lens and F90X

Can it get any more grey? Yup Eastern Canada and the Northeast mid Atlantic US has been under one massive cloud bank since mid December for most of the time. Bear in mind I'm bouncing all over the place with my backlog. instead of being chronological.  I picked up a fast walk around zoom for my Nikon autofocus fleet, the Nikon AF-D 35-70 F2.8 lens is perfect for walk around and slightly more compact than the 28-105 AF-D. The lens is sharp but it's a push pull lens which was popular in the early 1990s but these days can be  bit of pain in the ass but one I can live with.  The camera itself was a F90X, Nikon's sorta pro, sorta advanced amateur body that was a step below the F5. they are a steal to be honest.  Camera: Nikon F90X, Nikon AF-D 35-70 F2.8 Zoom lens.  Film: Bergger Pancro 400, FX-39 1+9.

The camera body itself is a little slimmer than the SL otherwise, they are pretty much similar. My 50th Anniversary SL2, sadly has a dead meter. Not the end of the world, I have a Doomo Light Meter D that fits nicely in the cold shoe on top of the prism and I get great exposure. The shutter works great a...
