Harbourfront in July
The Classic Camera Revival podcast hosted it's 10th anniversary photo walk, my friend John Roberts flew in from Vancouver for the weekend, I wanted to show him a bit of Toronto and after stopping off at Graination for a film top up, Harbourfront made the most sense.
Summer up to the last two weeks of August was silly hot thanks to a heat dome which gave us Miami in July temperatures, South Florida can have its weather back thank you very much. We rode on a short turning 510 streetcar and got off a Queens Quay then walked along the pier running parallel to the Music Garden.
We worked our way east until the heavens decided to open up around York Quay, John and I hopped a Union Station bound 510 Street Car as the rain picked up steam. I can't begin to describe how muggy the weather was.
Haven't shot with the Canon New F-1 AE in a bit, and I wanted to put the FDn 35 F2 through its paces. Yeah, this lens is worth every penny. I do have a bit of a hate on for the cinema lens re-housing crowd who are fixated on Canon FD glass for their projects for driving prices up, but what can you do? Not much in this day and age.
Canon New F-1 AE, FDn 35 F2 lens.
Film: Rollei RPX 400, Rollei Supergrain 1+15.
