Street Saavy 400 through a Nikon F2 Photomic.
Another Summer Saturday in the city, Jo-Anne wanted to go to her favourite hat maker David Dunkley to get some of her hats modified, We then wandered over through the Annex to Yorkville to scout out a future photo walk route. It also gave me a change to try Street Savvy 400 under the Street Candy brand from Flic Film. Going out on a limb Street Savvy orginated off Kodak's coating line in Rochester New York, it's not Ultramax 400, it's something from the prodcut line, maybe what's used in disposible cameras, who knows. Any way sliced, Street Savvy 400 is a joy to shoot with and more importantly, easy to scan. I barely had to do anything in Lightroom. The camrea choice was one of my Nikon F2's, with the OG Photomic pre Ai meter head along with a Nikkor O 35 F2 lens. A really nice combo for walking through the Annex and into the western edges of Yorkville. This is a very livable part of town, on the edge of the St. George Campus of University of Toronto.
