My Second Roll of Adox HR-50 in Uxbridge.
After Port Perry, I made my way to Uxbridge which is on the way to the 404 and home. I'm photographing the former York Durham Heritage Railway while I can, the rolling stock and locomotives have been sold. There will be a mechanical restoration to get them ready for transport to their new home.
Adox HR-50 loves bright sunshine, or, at least sunshine filtered though wildfire smoke. I don't see the point of expreimenting with developers, FX-39 works fabulous with this film. I should try HR-50 with waterfalls and see what I can get. One thing I love about this film is how easy it is to shoot with. I struggled with Ferrania P30 and I was never quite happy with Ilford Pan F 50.
Now coupled with my mid 1980s vintage made in Midland 50 F2 Summicron lens, I get even more of a sweet spot with HR-50, the game plan going forward is try it with other cameras, maybe my F4.
Camera: Leica M6 Classic, 50 F2 Summicron Lens (Midland).
Film: Adox HR-50, Adox FX-39 1+9.
