Oakville in January

I haven't shot much around Oakville of late, now that I'm up to date with my Covid shots I'm wandering a lot further. That said I did do some shooting last month with a bit of compare and contrast pre and post January 2022 blizzard. We got upwards of two feet of snow or 60 CM, I haven't seen a dump like this since I was boy growing up in Montreal.

Now getting around in on average knee deep snow was an adventure, of course I went out in the middle of the storm to photograph, getting down to Gairloch Gardens, usually a short walk took a lot longer navigating within the park off the access road was an adventure, but worth it. Before the storm, it was cold but it could have been extended November with sunny skies.
