The Nikkor S Mount W 3.5cm F2.5 Lens, A lovely Bit of Glass.

I've fallen in love with a particular lens, Nikon made great 35mm focal length lenses. I own multiple versions of the 35 F2 from the Pre Ai O to the autofocus AF-D which it delivers consistantly great results. Pre dating the F mount, Nikon had some great 35mm lenses including the expensive 35 F1.8, I went with the W 3.5cm F2.5 which I bought from Victory Camera a week after I got my SP because I didn't want to spend an arm and a leg for a llens. Photography in Malaysia did a great write up on Nikkor S mount 3.5cm lenses on their site.

Cosmetically the Nikkor W 3.5cm F2.5 lens looks very much alike to the Jupiter-12 35 F2.8 for the Kiev Rangefinders and the Zeiss Biogon 3.5cm F2.8 lens, the mounts are slightly different, monting on the wrong camera could lead to tears and regret. I'm happy with the performance of the W 3.5cm F2.5 lens and I can't wait to try it in colour.
