Prince Edward County Part One
Jo-Anne and I got out of town for a few days at the end of August, sort of an early birthday trip for me. I've been to Prince Edward County twice before a decade ago but they were day trips and hauling across Toronto just added to a long day. This time around we stayed in Bloomfield at the Walter Motel part of Angeline's Inn, can't recommend them enough.
We drove in on Loyalist Parkway through Hillier stopping by Norman Hardie Winery for lunch, their pizzas are delicious, the wine, something else but I prefer Stanners for their Pinot Noir, we visited on the way out a few days later on our way home.
I packed my Olympus OM-4Ti as my camera of choice with a three lens kit and only ran with black and white film. The trip would have been all Adox CHS 100 II but mother nature had other ideas. It was the second day I had to go to Rollei RPX 400, I prefered black and white on this trip, and we go back next year, it will be black and white film too.
The one time I did shoot colour in the county a decade ago, I wasn't all that happy with the results. For me, black and white is the preferred medium, I think it just looks better for the county.
Camera: Olympus OM-4Ti, MC Zuiko Lenses.
