A weekend in Second Summer in October 2025
Paid way too much for a special edition camera, but you know what, I was born in Montreal, lived there for the first 12 years of my life and still foot for the Habs (they are having a decent playoff run so far), so there. I loaded up with Fomapan 100 and enjoyed an early October weekend starting an Espresso and croissant at L'Amour in my neighbourhood, then a trip down to Graination to pick up some negatives and went up to Bathurst St. on the edge of the Annex to scout a starting point for the October Toronto Film Shooters Photowalk.
On saturday Jo-Anne and I explored Moore Park west of Mount Pleasant Road, checking out my great granddad Arthur Smith's house at the corner of Glenrose and Clifton. We then wandered west along St. Clair, then down to The Rebel House for a late lunch.
In hindsight I should have processed the Fomapan 100 in 510 Pyro to control the highlights.
Camera: Canon F-1 Montreal Olympics Edition, FD SSC 50 F1.4 lens.
