Let's Go Back To Late May for a Second....
I haven't shot colour film since last fall, and when storefront retail shut down just after Christmas, I just shot black and white film for months. It took me a while to figure out how to scan Kodak Ektar 100, I love the film but it can be a misery to scan on occasion and I have to fix it in Lightroom. It got better as things went along in this roll. I broke down at the end of May a shot a roll of Ektar 100 to capture some of the tulip action at Gairloch Gardens. What I found interesting, with the overcast skies, I got better results as the roll went on.
Totally unrelated, the lead off photo, you've seen this house a ton of times, by the time this post is live it will most likely be torn down to make way for another house with twice the square footage. Sad reality, this house was a tear down at $3 Million CAD ($2.6 Million USD), yup 2600 Square feet with a pool in back on a third of an acre corner lot. The house next door was realtively the same size (based on the same original building plans) but was renovated instead of torn down.
Minolta XE-7, MC Rokkor lenses.
Film: Kodak Ektar 100.
