Niagara on the Lake with a New Camera, and Lens Part One.
New camera and a new lens, I wanted another Canon 7 variant, and this particular 7S came as part of a bundle with a Nikkor H 50 f2 lens, which now lives in my Barnack Leica kit, and a Canon 100 F3.5 telephoto, a particular lens I've been on the hunt for ages. I also bought a Light Lens Lab Elcan 50 F2 lens in M39 which also was bundled with an M mount adapter, that lens after the move will live on my M4-2 and spoiler alert, M2 button rewind (awaiting an estimate for a CLA).
The 100 F3.5 lens is a delightful bit of glass, I only shot the super friendly golden retriever and it delivered. The Elcan 50 F2 was beyond fabulous but I'll talk about it in the next post. The Canon 7S started acting weird after frame 20, as in the film advance was getting downright near impossible. Did make it to the end. After processing the roll or Rollei RPX 400, I had frame overlap, was it the camera, or user error, stay tuned......
Camera: Canon 7S, Light Lens Lab Elcan 50 F2 lens. Canon 100 F3.5 lens.
Film: Rollei RPX 400, Ilfotec HC 1+31.
