Being a Tour Guide
The film photography world is an intimate one, particulary in the podcasting community. My friend Brandy, former co-host of Film Photo Geeks was in town as her partner had meetings downtown. We started out at Dineen Coffee at Yonge and Temperance, made our way over to Downtown Camera and later up to Riverdale, then ending up at Allen's on the Danforth for probably the best hamburger in the city. The secret if you are visiting Toronto, get out of the downtown core and head into the neighbourhoods.
I wound up using three lenses with the M2, the dual range 50 F2 Summicron which is an amazing lens, I also used the 90 F2.8 Skopar and 28 F2.8 Skopar lenses from Voigtlander. Truthfully Voigtlander glass can go toe to toe with Leica lenses any day of the week. I bought the 28 F2.8 Skopar for my M5 specfically because the Light Lens Lab 9 element 28 F2.8 would damage the M5's light meter sensors.
Camera: Leica M2, 50 f2 DR Summicron, 28 F2.8 Voigtlander Skopar Lens, 90 F2.8 Voigtlander Skopar Lens.
Film: Rollei RPX 400, Rollei Supergrain 1+15.
