Frugal Film Project, February Edition Winter Weekend in the 416.
It was the coldest weekend of the year, with windchills on Friday somewhere around -30c. However while we used to get a couple of weeks of bitter cold weather, this winter, you could confuse it for super late November, or super early April. There's hardly any snow on the ground when I shot this roll, and it scares me a bit, losing the winter I knew. By the following weekend, most of the snow melted away from tthe rain showers during the week.
The reasons why I love Nikkormats so much is they can handle winter well I didn't have a bad frame on this roll. The FTn isn't a sophisticated camera, just bulb to 1/1000 of a second, mirror lock up and centre weighted metering and the ability to mount most manual focus Nikkor F mount lenses ever made, what's not to love?
Camera: Nikkormat FTn, Nikkor H 50 F2 lens.
Film: Kentmere 400, Ilfotec HC 1+31
