Walking Back Up Roncesvalles from the Train Tracks

Walking back up from the bottom of Roncesvalles at Queen St. you can tell Roncessvalles is an intriguing street, the west side of the street is, my guess over 60% residential with walk up apartment buildings, duplexes and houses while on the east side of the street was retail and restaraunts.

The last time I was in Roncesvalles Village, it was in the before times on a Summer photo walk, back then I was more of fan of the Beaches. This time around while on the photo walk, revisiting with fresh eyes, I noticed street level retail is pretty healthy and has a lot of amenities for a walkable neighbourhood, further afield by Henderson Brewing is a C-41 colour lab, and up on the edge of the Junction Triangle is Film Plus. This neighbourhood is ticking off a lot of boxes as a long term spot to live. In the end, we'll see, I'm not one for jinxing things.
