Walking Up Yonge With my Leica M2
A note, if you have been following along the post content chronology is all out of whack, this is what happens when you let a backlog of film to be processed pile up. So, lets go back to late October after the Scriptus Toronto Pen Show (I collect fountain pens, and yes I have multiple expensive hobbies). I wanted to wander up Yonge Street. with my Leica M2 shooting mosly with the dual range 50 F2 Summicron lens. This was a fun walk up to Summerhill Subway Station from the Metro Toronto Reference Library.
I threw a roll of Fomaapn 400 into the M2 and got a nice classic look with the results. I picked up some of the new plastic bulk loading cannisters made by Flic Film and they are light years better than the old Kalt plastic screw top cannisters that always seemed to fail. Fomapan and a few other companies are using the same design which means I can re use them.
Getting back to the M2, a Leica M body is becoming second nature with my photography, there's something magical about them.
Camera: Leica M2, 50 F2 DR Summicron Lens.
Film: Fomapan 400, Rollei Supergrain 1+15.
