Let's Roll Back To October, For the Cinestill Photo Walk

This is what happens when you procrastinate in processing pushed rolls of HP5, they sit for a frew months,

Let's roll the clock back to late October 2024, when things were slightly less weird in the world.  Andre Domingues of Negative Positives Podcast fame told me that his employer, Cinestill was hosting a photo walk in Toronto, Alex Luykx and I flew the Classic Camera Revival flag. Going to photo walks you didn't organize is fun, because we're not the ones herding the group.

We met up at Downtown Camera by the used counters, along with well over a hundred other people. By the time we went across the street for the group shot at Metropolitan United Church across the street, the group was up to 200 plus. Both Alex and I were thankful we weren't leading this photo walk. Usually with the monthy Toronto Film Shooters FB group walks, we get maybe 20 people on the busiest walk.

It was pretty simple, start at Downtown Camera, pit stop at Graination Lab with the end point being at the rooftop bar at the Ace Hotel for gin and tonics. I got some great skyline shots from the bar patio at sunset.

Camera: Nikon FM2/T, Nikkor AIS lenses.

Film: Ilford HP5 400 pushed to 1600, Ilfotec HC 1+31.
