The February Toronto Film Shooters Photo Walk in the East End Part One

Bean a hot minute since I last used the Light Lens Labs Elcan 50 f2 lens, for the February walk, why not use it on my recently acquired Leica M5 and the match works. The Walter Mandler design dates back to the early 1970s and the M5 was a quintessential early 1970s camera that sadly didn't have the love it should have.

The Elcan 50 F2 was a joy to use on a crisp winter's day when you needed to shift apertuere settings and that big tab made life easy. The Film of choice was Rollei RPX 400, and I will never run out of this film, ever.

We had a great turn out for the photo walk. the route took us from The Only Cafe on the Danforth and winding up at Godspeed Brewery on Coxwell just south of Gerrard in that weird little pocket that's not Little India or Upper Beaches.

Camera: Leica M5, Light Lens Lab Elcan 50 F2 lens.

Film: Rollei RPX 400, Rollei Supergrain 1+15.
