Leicaflex SL2 in the Cold.
It was a cold January, and my 50th Anniversary Leicaflex SL2 soldiered on. Couldn't say the same with the 50 F2 Wetzler 3 Cam R Summicron lens, it got still in windchills around -20c. This was two days after the 60cm dump of snow this past January. The 50th Jhare SL2 has a dead meter, no idea if it can be revived but I have black Doomo clip on light meter I use for my Leica M4-2, even that struggled a bit in the cold. All that said, the SL2 handled the cold really well.
Toronto got hit with a massive snow storm, upwards of 60cm of snow in one go, followed by a polar vortex event. This roll started in front of Graination a day or two before the great blizzard of 2026. Everything else happened after the worst of the cold.
