The Distillery District Christmas Market Dec 2025

Pre pandemic, I nearly went to the Distillery District Chirstmas Market as as part of a Toronto Film Shooters night outing the Tuesday before Christmas. My friend James Lee and I got nowhere near the Distillery District, one look at the line up to get in which stretched around the district, twice along that finding parking was downright impossible. The end result was, "Fuck that" and we let everyone know through text we will be at Betty's (a King East stalwart dive bar that has since moved to Leslieville) and my camera never left my bag.

Flash forward to December 2025 a group of us, Jo-Anne her friend Grace and I went to the Christmas Market, being smart, we went on a weekday with slightly less crowds and no cover. Jo-Anne was a tad disappointed, it was much more focused on food stalls than artisinal crafts and even for a week day,  it was busy. We came, we saw, had lunch and then went to Soma Chocolate at King and Spadina because the Distillery District location had a long line up.
