The Wednesday Gang Trip to the Toronto Islands Part Two.

 A day trip to the Toronto Islands is a mini vacation, sadly when you get to the Ward's Island Ferry Dock, returning to reality is a bit jarring. Especially when you see the hordes of people trying to get to the Islands in the afternoon. The Toronto Islands themselves have two remnents of a much bigger commmunity that was pushed out in the 1950s when the newly minted Metro Toronto Government wanted to turn the Islands into a giant park, both Algonquin and Ward's Islands resisted and continue to this day as car free communities. Other fun fact, the Toronto Maple Leafs, the baseball team had their stadium on the island and Babe Ruth played there prior to joining the NY Yankes. 

The Olympus OM-2n is one of my workhorses in my camera fleet, they have never left me down. It also gave an opporunity to use my my MC Zuiko 65-200 F4 Zoom lens, I don't use that glass too often, I should.
