The Wednesday Gang's Bellwoods Wander Part Two, Up To Dundas

 

This was one of those days, where a film would make sense at the beginning of a photo walk but doesn't near the end. I ran with Kodak Tri-X because the weather forecast was calling for more cloud than sun but in the end we got way more sun than cloud.  Ilford's FP4, Rollei RPX 100 or Adox CHS 100 II would have made a lot more sense, 20/20 hindsight I guess. I did have some challenging spots in the walk where Tri-x Made sense, deep in the shade. 

It's been a minute since I last shot with my Canon F-1n, every camera has almost a personality. I had to relearn how my 1970s F-1n metered compared to something more contemporary. Canon FD glass by and large is amazing glass, especially the chrome nose 35 F2 breech lock FD lens, for black and white work.
