A Rollei 35 with a Schneider Xenar lens.

Most casual fans of the Rollei 35 think it came with either a 40 F3.5 Zeiss Tessar lens, or a slightly faster 40 F2.8 Zeiss Sonnar lens. The Sonnar lenes appeared in the line up after Rollei 35 production was moved to Singapore in the early 1970s. Fun fact, Tessar lenses were in short supply so the 40 F3.5 Xenar lens from Schneider optics was used instead. While not a rare camera, the Xenar lensed Rollei 35s weren't common as they were only made for a short while.

Camera: Rollei 35, Schneider Xenar 40 F3.5 lens.

Film: Kosmo Mono 100, D76 1+1.
