One Camera and One Lens

The post begins and ends at the same intersection. Purists are going to go nuts that someone would use a non Leica lens on a Leica M body in this case an M-39 Canon 50 F1.8 lens that would have been at home on either a Canon P or a 7 in the 1960s. I love Leica Screw Mount Canon glass, would love to find a Nikkor H.C. 50 F2 lens at some point. Going with just one lens and camera shooting reduced decision making.

The film of choice was Fomapan 400 because I was looking for some retro goodness to channel the streetscapes both Friday afternoon with the contrasty November sunshine and Sunday with the dismal dirty white T-shirt left in the Line One Subway tunnel just north of Eglington Station skies. Finally got around to rolling some more up from my bulk roll for future weekends.

Camera: Leica M4-2, Canon LTM 50 F1.8 lens.

Film: Fomapan 400, Ilfotec HC 1+31.
