NLP 2024 Part Four, into Limberlost Forest and Nature Preserve
Limberlost Forest is one of those Northern Muskoka treasures I hope doesn't get too discovered, I love hiking the trails and it's much quieter than Algonquin Park which is a about a half hour drive east. There are a variety of trails that vary in difficulty and length, Buck Lake lands around the middle.
If there's one bit of advice, choose your camera gear carefully, or, around KM 4, or 5, you're going to regret not getting into shape and building endurance beforehand. Something I'm doing for next year, that said, used the 180 F2.8 ED lens, wow, I can't say enough, amazing glass!
My F4 was perfect for this hike as it delivered consistantly perfect exposures frame after frame. I'll stand by it's Nikon's last manual focus pro body, when configured with a K or in my case a P screen.
Camera: Nikon F4, Nikkor AIS lenses.
Film: Eastman Kodak Vision 3 250D, ECN2 processed at Graination Lab.
