NLP 2025 Part Two

I ran with a two camera set up on this NLP trip, a Nikon F4 and FM2n, and a selection of lenses including the Nikkor AIS ED 180 F2.8 lens, not used on this particular roll. Film wise throughout the full trip I used Eastman Kodak Vision 3 250D motion picture stock which was ECN2 processed at Graination Lab in Toronto. Had intentions of shooting black and white but didn't. Next year might be an all black and white extravaganza.

My equipment choice of course came to bite me in the ass on the hike in Limberlost Forest, more on that when we get there. For now we started by arriving at Billie Bear Resort and headed  Ragged Falls on the Oxtongue River, just outside of Algonquin Park in the morning. I was here once before with the group back in 2013 (gulp, that long ago?).  The skies threatening rain for most of the day, we lucked out.

Part of me wonders if I should have just run with the FM2n and left the F4 home, but I wanted the matrix metering.....
