Wandering, Friday September 28 Part One

We did a little hiking but the weather was typical fall weather, just about everything, some sun, and some rain. We still wanted to head out, only we decided to see where Limberlost Road went. What would surprise a lot of people in the city is the Muskoka region still has an active logging industry and the access roads now become the way you get to your cottage.

So we drive east towards Tasso Lake, which is the last lake before Algonquin Park, and there's more than one way in. We didn't go all the way into the park but we were close to the edge and found a trail that went around the northeast end of Tasso Lake, well we got distracted with some rapids we never made it all the way around.

It was a really gloomy day threatening rain up until lunchtime, the neutral density filters didn't even need to come out of the camera bag. These photographs take me to that spot where all you hear is the water and the wind. There was no other noise in the woods.
